Today I am going to tell you about making Rasgulla at home, you can easily make this sweet at your home, to make it, only milk, flour, lemon and sugar syrup are needed.     Ingredients for Rasgulla


    Milk = 1.5 liters (7 cups)


    Lemon juice or vinegar = 2 tbsp. (take the juice of 2 lemons)


    Arrowroot = 2 tsp


    Sugar = 800 grams (4 cups)

    The main ingredient for making Rasgulla is chhena (cheese), we can bring fresh chhena from dairy or we can also make it at home with milk. If we want to make chenna (cheese) at home, then first of all we will know about the process of making chenna for making rasgulla.



    Now take out the milk in a heavy bottom pan and heat it. When the milk comes to a boil, then take the milk off the gas, let the milk cool down a bit, after that you also add 1 cup of water to cool the milk. And add lemon juice little by little to the milk and keep stirring it with a spoon,



    Until the milk breaks down completely, that is, it will burst, the chena and water will start separating in the milk, now you stop adding lemon juice. Now sieve the chena in a cloth and pour cold water over it so that the taste of lemon does not remain in the chena. Now remove the excess water by lifting the cloth from all sides and pressing it with your hand. After draining all the water, now the chenna is ready for making rasgulla. Keep in mind that the paneer should be mashed well.


    Ingredients of Rasgulla


    (without cream, boiled and refrigerated cold milk) 2 liters of milk


    (mixed with 1/4 cup water) 1/4 cup lemon juice


    (Maida) (semolina can also be used) 1 tsp all purpose flour


    (Rose water or cardamom flavor) 4 cups to taste


    syrup method


    Take 1/3 cup sugar in a vessel. And add enough water that the sugar can remain submerged in the water. And make sugar syrup by keeping it on the gas. Add cardamom powder or rose water to it.


    Rasgulla method


    Boil four to six cups of water in a pan. Prepare paneer balls. Keep in mind that the paneer balls should be very smooth and should not be broken from anywhere. Put the prepared balls in the boiled water and cover the pan. Let them cook for about 20 minutes. After cooking, keep them to cool down. When the balls cool down, drain the water from them and put them in the syrup. Serve cold.
